King Charles III Coronation Dance workshops

The Coronation of His Majesty, King Charles III will take place on the 6th May 2023 at Westminster Abbey. To commemorate this historic event, book a full day or half day workshop with the Don Rae Academy! You can opt to have a “Kings & Queens Day”, a “Best of British” dance festival featuring the UK’s biggest rock and pop stars or “Dance through the Decades”. You can even have a street party in the playground learning fun dance routines from the British Isles and the Commonwealth. Why not dress up as a King or Queen and celebrate in style!

Windrush 75 Dance workshops

National Windrush Day on the 22nd June 2023 will mark the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the passengers of the Empire Windrush to the UK. The Don Rae Academy are offering fun dance workshops celebrating the culture and music of the Caribbean islands. Our dances will also narrate the journey of the passenger exploring the themes - ‘settlements’ and ‘new beginnings’. Our workshops are suitable for all ages from Early Years to Year 6 and our specialist dance teachers are DBS checked.
